Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how JB Post Manager processes information through its website and Windows desktop application.
1. Information processed by the application
Depending on the features used, JB Post Manager may process video filenames and local file paths, connected-account information, publishing status, application settings, and technical information required to communicate with supported APIs.
2. TikTok account information
When a user connects TikTok through Login Kit, the application may receive the TikTok account information permitted by the scopes the user authorizes. This may include basic profile information and account identifiers. Authorization credentials may be stored locally so the application can maintain an authorized connection and make permitted API requests.
3. Video content
Videos selected by the user are processed for the requested publishing workflow. The desktop application is designed to work with video files stored on the user's computer. When the user initiates publishing, content may be transmitted to the connected third-party platform as required to complete that request.
4. How information is used
Information is used to connect authorized accounts, identify connected profiles, organize publishing tasks, submit permitted content, display publishing results, maintain application state, and provide the website and application features requested by the user.
5. Third-party services
When a user connects a third-party service such as TikTok, information necessary to fulfill an authorized request may be transmitted to that service. Third-party services independently process information under their own policies and terms. JB Post Manager does not control those independent practices.
6. Local storage and retention
The desktop application may retain application records, account connection data, and publishing status on the user's computer so that the application can continue operating after restart. Users can remove local application data using the application's available controls or by deleting the application's local data.
7. Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect application information and authorization credentials. Users are responsible for protecting access to their Windows account and computer and for avoiding disclosure of application files containing sensitive information.
8. Children's privacy
JB Post Manager is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use the applicable third-party services.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
10. Contact
Privacy questions or requests may be submitted through the contact information made available on the official JB Post Manager website.
